Hi everyone! We hope you are having a wonderful start to summer. We wanted to share some exciting news and opportunities you can sign up for now to prepare for our next season.
We are thrilled to announce that Mountain View's Athletic Director has named Coach Lynn Wesley as the new Mountain View Swim & Dive Head Coach! Coach Wesley has served as an assistant coach and a vital executive member of our team since 2018. Her enthusiasm, support and dedication to our team and student athletes is unparalleled. We are excited to welcome her to this new role and have no doubt she will be successful in contuning to make Mountain View Swim & Dive history in building our team to new goals and accomplishments.
SWATfit registration has opened and we encourage any swimmers who would like to participate in pre-season conditioning this fall prior to our high school swim season to call and sign up! There is a flier attached with all the details of this program at Swim Atlanta Hamilton Mill.There are several dive clinics being offered this summer for all ages and skill levels. This is a great opportunity for students to who would like to try diving or who already do dive to establish or improve solid dive techniques. Remember, you don't just have to be a swimmer or a diver...you can both swim and dive for our team! UGA is offering 2 dive clinics in June and July, please see flier attached if you are interested. Likewise, some of our very own Gwinnett High School Dive Coaches are offering dive clinics at Collins Hill Aquatic Center this June, July and August. Please see flier attached if you are interested.
