    First Meet this Saturday!!

    Hello Team!

We are excited and ready for our first meet this Saturday morning 10/25/25 at Mountain Park Aquatic Center against Peachtree Ridge, South Gwinnett & Shiloh!

If you have not done so already, we highly encourage you to subscribe to our events and meets page on our website. This will ensure you always have the most up-to-date information for all events and meets for our team.

Athletes must ride the bus to the meet Saturday morning to Mountain Park Aquatic Center. All swimmers should arrive at Mountain View High School and meet in front of the school at 6:00 AM to board the bus. Do not be late! If by chance the bus is not here yet, please wait in your car to stay warm until the bus arrives. We will depart for Mountain Park Aquatic Center no later than 6:15 AM. You need to eat breakfast before you arrive, or bring something with you. We will not be providing food, but there are concessions available at this meet.

We will get to Mountain Park and change into suits for warmups. After warm-ups, the first event will begin at 8:05am. Please check swimtopia to see individual entries for your athlete, so that everyone knows what events to be ready for. Relays will be posted later this week on the heat sheet, but are subject to change up until the time of the event. We expect the meet to end between 10:30 -10:45, but this timing is just an estimate.

Once the meet is over, students must either check out with the coaches or ride back to the school. No athlete should leave the building prior to the end of the meet. Once the bus is loaded/headed back, we will communicate with parents to give an estimated time to arrive back at Mountain View high school.

Meet Theme/What to Bring: Each week, our captains designate a theme to make the meets more fun, and communicate that through the athlete GroupMe. This week's theme is Pink Out to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month! We would love for all of you to join us in wearing Pink!

Once the meet starts, all athletes are expected to wear their team suit, their team cap (if they’re a swimmer) and if they are a diver they should have their team shammy towel. Please note per GHSA rules, swimmers MUST wear their high school team cap & team suit for meets. They are not permitted to wear club or any other logo caps besides their high school cap. No jewelry should be worn while swimming or diving.

The following items are good to have in your swim bag for the meet: team suit, goggles, cap, backup goggles, backup cap, dive shammy for divers, towel(s), warm clothes to wear after a race/on the bus, healthy snacks, and water!!

    Volunteers:

Thank you to both our parent and student volunteers for this meet! Please arrive at Mountain Park by 7:15AM in order to check and attend any pre-meet instructions. Thank you for help!
