Hello! We had an amazing first home meet last night! Thank you to everyone who volunteered to make it possible. Tina Adams, our Volunteer Coordinator will be in contact this week with anyone that missed their volunteer responsibilities. As a reminder, we can't run a meet for our athletes without volunteers. Results and scores are posted on the website under yesterday's meet on the Events/Meets tab (click Previous Events at the top of the page)! We had 10 new/improved county qualifying times earned at last night's meet! Click HERE to see our County Qualifiers page. We had 4 new state qualifications made last night! We had 2 relays qualify for State:

• Men’s 200FR Relay (Gideon Paul, Dong Luong, Aiden Restrepo, TJ Thompson)
• Men’s 400FR Relay (Kaden Le, Gideon Paul, Adrian Restrepo, TJ Thompson).

We want to recognize our Bears of the Meet selected this week. These athletes are chosen for their performances during the meet. They can be chosen for achieving county or state qualifying times, trying new events, achieving personal bests in an event, showing good sportsmanship, or anything else that catches the coaches' eyes.

Coming up this week:

• Picture Day – THIS Wednesday 11/5 at Collins Hill Aquatic Center. Arrive no later than 4:30. Please wear this season’s team shirts (cream/tan color) and jeans. Please make sure to wear this when you arrive! Individual photos can be purchased as well. Photo package options have been sent home, but if your swimmer didn't receive the envelope, please have them come see Coach Boykin at practice to get one. Payment needs to be made at the time of our photo session. We WILL have practice afterwards, so please bring suits or wear them underneath clothing.
• Our second home meet! Friday 11/7 at Collins Hill Aquatic Center Mountain View takes on Dacula and Berkmar.
