Hello Team! 

I hope you all had a restful and wonderful Thanksgiving break! I also hope you all returned today loaded with energy and ready to work towards reaching new best times at Clody on Saturday! This is a big meet, with West Gwinnett Aquatic Center hosting 9 teams (half of our county) at once!

Here is our Saturday timeline: 

6:30 am- Arrive at MVHS to load the bus. DO NOT BE LATE!! 

7:15 am- Swimmers enter locker room/pool deck at West Gwinnett

7:45 am- MVHS Warmup

8:00 am- Doors open to spectators (Purchase Tickets and Heat Sheets HERE)

9:00 am- Meet Begins (See attachment for your events!)

1:00 pm- Estimated End of Meet. Swimmers load bus back to MVHS or Check out with Coaches

1:45 pm - Estimated Arrival at MVHS

Friday 12/5 Holiday Party:

We are excited for our annual team holiday party & white elephant gift exchange!

Details:

• We will set up in the atrium after school
• Bring a wrapped blanket to exchange. (Creative, Unique, Humorous, Snuggly, etc. styles are welcome!)
• Pizza will be provided by the team
• Last names A-G bring a 6-12 pack of water/sports drink/soda
• Last names H-O bring a snack item
• Last names P-Z bring a dessert
• All gifts & food/drink items may be brought to Coach Boykin's room in the math pod A313 in the morning to avoid carrying them around all day
• We are aiming to finish around 3:30. 

***If any swimmer is unable to participate in the gift exchange due to financial reasons, please see or message Coach Boykin privately so that we can help. We don't want anyone to miss out on celebrating the season with the team!***
