Hello State Team! 

I just want to send one last set of reminders for tomorrow and Saturday!

1) We have our State Dinner celebration TONIGHT 6:30 pm THURSDAY, 2/5/26 at Top Golf in Buford. We will be done no later than 8:30, possibly earlier. 

2) Thank you to those who have contributed to our Snack bags for the (6) swimmers to wish them good luck and help them get through the long day(s) of prelims and finals. Apologies for having the settings wrong on this spreadsheet so we can see what is covered, but if you have anything else you would like me to include in their bags, please send it tonight with your swimmer or drop it off at school before the end of the day for either Coach Boykin or Coach Pickens. 

3) Friday/Saturday Swim Meet:

• Transportation: All athletes will need to have their own transportation for Prelims and Finals. If there is an issue with transportation, please communicate with us now! Please make sure you have reserved your parking pass or have a plan for an alternative place to park.
  • All athletes/teams must enter the venue via the REAR entrance to the Campus Recreation Center on Tech Parkway. No teams will be allowed to enter the venue via the front (Ferst Drive) entrance, that entrance will be for SPECTATORS ONLY.  SEE GREEN STAR ON THE ATTACHED MAP!!

• Meals: 
  • Please eat Breakfast on your own before you arrive at the pool.
  • Coaches will provide subs for lunch during each session.

• Friday, Feb. 6 - Swimming Prelims
• Arrival at GA TECH AQUATIC CENTER: 8:00
• Warm-up: 8:55 - 9:15
• 9:30 am Meet Start
• 1:00 pm Estimated Meet End
• Saturday, Feb. 7 - Swimming Finals
• Arrival: 8:45
• Warm-up: 9:25 - 9:40
• 10:00 am Meet Start
• 1:00 pm Estimated Meet End
• Individual Entries, Prelims Heat Sheet for boys and Psych sheet are attached

*** We need all swimmers to be ON TIME for our scheduled arrival! We have to enter as a team, so we will be standing outside waiting on anyone who isn't there yet!***

4) Please refer to our Swimtopia website and the State Meet website or this State meet information page for parking & ticketing information. Please get your tickets now, as sessions can sell out! 

5) GHSA still needs a few more volunteers! It is an excellent opportunity to have a front row seat for the action, and get free admission. Use this 2026 State Meet Volunteer Signup Link to select a session & position. Jobs will be available on a first come first served basis. Thank you to those willing to help!
